Sunday

This is my second project from Sheridan's Computer Animation program, called "Sunday".

I want to demonstrate a slice of life to represent my lazy Sunday.

To try another 2d stroke art style, Not 100% alike but in limited time and limited skill, I tried to follow the instruction of Zeno Pelgrims' document (http://zenopelgrims.com/project-arnold-brushstroke-shader-quantize.html) to recreate the render style myself.

I started in a Houdini render and to control all the brush stroke as hair system. It's so exciting for me to make an art style through the process like that. And I have to give a special thanks to Michael Chrobak, who is my last year teacher but still give me a good advise on handing brush strokes' normal direction. Also, a big thanks to Steve Sayer as well to help me find out the magic node comb to tweak custom stroke flow. Last but not least, a huge thanks to Devin Lim to fine tuning every single move of my character's acting, you literally sublime my vision of animation to another level of acting. I can't achieve the work without any of you, thank you very much!
